In addition to CRM services, Beverwyck Archaeology can provide archaeological and historical research for individuals or small institutions. These include Beverwyck's Home Histories and genealogical and family research.
Home Histories
Do you own an old home? Are you a member of a historical society interested in the grounds of a historic structure? Not all the work Beverwyck does is Section 106 compliance – we offer individuals and organizations who are interested in the archaeology or history of their house, plot, or land the ability to conduct customizable archaeological and/or historical research projects. These can be done to address a specific question, investigate something unusual in your yard, or simply to satisfy curiosity. We offer a range of research options, from historical house research (deed, census data, etc.) to small-scale excavations to fit both your interests and your budget.
Educational Outreach
Are you looking to provide educational opportunities to your students? The staff at Beverwyck loves working with students and have often visited their own kids’ classrooms. We are happy to give presentations, demonstrations, or lead hands-on excavation with you and your students. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss the possibility of educational outreach with Beverwyck Archaeology.
